Becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority is a transformative expertise for a lot of ladies. AKA is the oldest traditionally African American sorority, based in 1908 on the campus of Howard College. The sorority’s mission is to domesticate and encourage black ladies in academia and their communities.
There are various advantages to becoming a member of AKA. Members acquire entry to a community of profitable and supportive ladies who can present mentorship, steering, and assist. AKA additionally presents a wide range of applications and initiatives that assist members develop their management abilities, have interaction in group service, and pursue their instructional and profession targets.
